Well, I'm still not sure Churchill III is worth the money, but if it's on sale for pennies, then maybe I got it pretty cheap. The gun pen isn't good, and neither is the alpha damage. Sure, you can shoot gold, but then it might be worth spending the gold on training instead. Given the short reload time and low damage, it's pretty expensive to run the tank on gold.
MatchmakingThat one might be a lot of fun. I do like the fast reload though, but that in itself can get me into trouble, as I can't resist the temptation to try to beat an opponents reload, instead of taking cover - my biggest fault, I'm afraid!
Churchill III still a darn good tank doesn't meet anything above tier 6 well at the moment and its well capable of shredding a tank very quickly. You think the E25 has an insane rate of fire I have the E25 up to 24 with a 5 skill crew the Churchill III is over 31 with a 2 skill crew.
It can be a pain if you run into O1s or Other Churchill's you just have to be careful around them. Usually people on youtube just pick up what's already discussed at length here. I d Is the Churchill III a good premium? - Gameplay - World of Tanks. The cost of changing and rebalancing PMM tanks outside tier 8 is really high in order to fix for a problem that does not exist.
Even if they proceeded with the tier 8 changes which I kinda hope they do, I'd like to trade IS6 and FCM 50t for something playable , going beyond that would be madness in financial sense - which is certainly an angle WG cares about. Community Forum Software by IP.

I have people talk about this over the YT on numerous occasions. Why have you nerfed and ruined the Churchill III? Its my most played tank, and I have always encouraged friends and clan members to buy one because it was always a solid killer and silver earner. Its been nerfed several times in the past, but now, the last secret unannounced nerf has totally ruined this what used to be such a fun and solid tank to play. Rarefication, on 16 January - If this were true, most would be compelled to destroy themselves. Let them argue with the barrel of a gun. Since I am planing to buy Churchill 3 I am scared a bit by this news. Can someone confirm or disprove this news? Is WG really going to remove preferential matchmaking and remove this trait from the existing tanks like the Churchill 3?
I dont want to buy the tank and have it remove the traits that were promised to me. Bordhaw 3 Posted 05 July - IRSanchez 5 Posted 05 July - WG beeing quiet is not a sign things are not happening. Personally I think they will go for it anyways, they just are figuring out how to "sell" this to the playerbase.
Gremlin 7 Posted 05 July - Maybe it would not be as good At tier 5 meeting tier 6 the armour holds up but against tier 7 it would be like the Churchill 1 and that's not so good 88mm of flat armour starts to be a problem. Homer might be right they have certainly been very quiet about it.
T2 Light TankWorld of tanks churchill iii matchmaking Xandania 8 Posted 05 July - In regards to Churchill 3 - I would recommend buying it.
Venom 9 Posted 06 July - Xandania 10 Posted 06 July - I know that you are trying to convince me and sell me on the Churchill 3. But comparing it to a bottle of wine is not a good tactic on me. Because the bottle will always win!! In this case the bottle has the preferential MM. Ah okay, yeah, Tiger wouldn't be very useful for training Russian crew Well, I'm still not sure Churchill III is worth the money, but if it's on sale for pennies, then maybe I got it pretty cheap.

Search Advanced Search section: I won't be recommending the purchase of this tank any longer Rarefication 3 Posted 16 January - Mine seems to be working fine. Play it on Xbox Sparrowhawk 6 Posted 16 January - Same as the others, I had some great games in it earlier today AKA, being played soo much that the weaknesses are well known.
MaxChaos24 9 Posted 16 January - Da ku ichi 10 Posted 16 January - What about it feels different? Maybe you are not playing it right? Maybe the reds finally figured out how to beat it since many have owned it and know how to utilize its weaknesses. LevelStream18 15 Posted 16 January - WG does not nerf tanks without us being notified in patch notes. Also, they don't nerf premiums. I think it is just bad luck on your part tonight with RNG. Another possibility is powercreep; new tanks have been added and old ones have been buffed, meaning that unchanged tanks can feel less powerful after several years of being in the game despite never receiving changes.
But there have been no nerfs to the Churchill 3 at all, either recently or in the past. And as for the statement " RNG added against it to bounce and miss way more often than normal," the idea that some tanks get better or worse RNG than others or that WG messes with a tank's RNG is merely a forum myth and is not at all true.
Nerfing without being added to patch notes SightlessRogue0 18 Posted 16 January - It can be the avalanche of light in games that causes you problem. Since the last update many tanks have become downright obsolete because of that. The fact that other forum member found it unchanged by having played it today and yesterday makes me lean towards this conclusion because of the tank bowl which makes the light are a little less played now but it's temporary, the problem will come back.
I use Google translator for english language Lots of juggling in french text, sometimes translator in trouble with that. As Max mentioned, this tank hasn't been nerfed. I think the issue for you, OP, is that even average players like me who like to play tier fives know it's weak spots and can kill it regularly, since someone has one in nearly every tier 5ish match.
